About Us

Brockley Women M.E.A.N Business was founded in January 2012 and meets on the last Monday of every month (starting Monday 27th February).

B.W.M.B provide a FREE platform for Female entrepreneurs and business owners in Brockley and surrounding areas to network, give talks, run FREE workshops, seminars and more…

Women are welcomed to use the space to run free taster seminars and workshops, hold mini events, sell their products and more. The aim is to raise awareness of the business or service you offer, whilst having fun in a relaxed setting with like-minded women.

Q: “I’ve got a great story to tell – obstacles I have overcome, challenges I have faced and won, and I’d now like to raise my profile as a motivational speaker and empower other women by sharing my story.

I’ve not spoken in front of an audience before though, and am a bit apprehensive. Please help”

A: “Come and speak at the next B.W.M.B event, practice makes perfect”…Q: I have heard about your event, I am a budding stylist and make-up artist, and would love to come and run a free workshop at your event. A: We would be delighted for you to come and run a workshop, please send us a brief of what you would like to do.TripsWe will also organise regular trips, girlie weekends and more – hey ladies, that work-life balance is a MUST!!!

Trips will be available to everyone, but members, will get a 50% discount. Where funding is available, trips will be free. We will always endeavour to keep costs to a minimum.

Girlie weekends and trips abroad will be heavily discounted for members, and again, costs will be kept to a minimum where funding is not available.

Membership

Membership costs 15.00 GBP.

Anyone can attend our events, but being a member of Brockley Women Mean Business will entitle you to the following;

·         A link on the Cre8tive Diva Productions and Brockley Women M.E.A.N Business websites (A link to the London Young Women’s Day website if under 25).

·         A regular newsletter detailing offers, information about you and your business, A regular small advertisement. (Newsletter will be circulated to groups/organisations, libraries, etc in the area).

·         Information on networking and other events that may interest you.

·    A free mini makeover and professional Jpeg image for you to use for promotional use (e.g. on Linkedin, Facebook etc).

·         Birthday and Christmas gifts.

·         Free entry to all Brockley Women M.E.A.N business ‘special events’, such as; Ladies Day, Summer BBQ, The Big Pink Pamper Party and The Only Way Is Brockley.
